Itinerary

  • Day 1: Kathmandu – Nagarkot
    • :

      Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 m). After immigration and baggage collection, meet the representatives and transfer (1.5 hrs) to Nagarkot (2100 m). Check in, dinner buffet at the hotel, and enjoy fresh mountain air and scenic Himalayan views. Witness sunset over the snow peaks, turning shades of pink. Overnight at the hotel with breakfast and dinner.

  • Day 2: Nagarkot – Namobuddha – Bhaktapur – Nagarkot
    • :

      Watch the sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, drive to Namobuddha (1.5 hrs), a peaceful Buddhist pilgrimage site with panoramic views. Visit Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery.

      Continue to Bhaktapur, Nepal’s best-preserved medieval city, known for temples, artists, potters, and the famous Nyatapola Pagoda.

      Return to Nagarkot. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3: Nagarkot – Kathmandu

      Transfer back to Kathmandu. Visit the Changu Narayan Temple (4th century), one of Nepal’s oldest and a UNESCO site. Explore the ancient art, sculptures, and hilltop views.

      Continue to Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Shiva temple in Nepal. Observe rituals from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 4: Boudhanath – Sankhu

      Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of Asia’s largest stupas and a major Buddhist pilgrimage site.

      Continue to Vajrayogini Temple in Sankhu, a sacred site for Buddhists and Hindus dating back to the 5th century AD. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

  • Day 5: Kathmandu – Pharping – Swayambhunath

      Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Pharping, a spiritual town home to the Kali Temple, Buddhist caves blessed by Guru Rinpoche, Green Tara image, and retreat monasteries.

      After lunch, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, a 2000-year-old sacred Buddhist site with 365 steps and panoramic views of Kathmandu.

      Return to the hotel. Overnight.

  • Day 6: Kathmandu – Pokhara (~8 hours, 200 km)

      Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Pokhara. En route visit Manakamana Temple via cable car, dedicated to goddess Bhagwati.

      Arrive in Pokhara, check-in, rest, evening walk at Lakeside Bazaar, and witness the Hindu Aarti ceremony at Fewa Lake. Overnight.

  • Day 7: Pokhara (813 m)

      Early trip to Sarangkot for sunrise views over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Visit Bindabasini Temple.

      After breakfast, boat ride on Fewa Lake and visit Barahi Temple on an island.

      Continue sightseeing: Devis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Lakeside Bazaar, World Peace Pagoda, and nearby tallest Shiva statue. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 8: Pokhara – Kagbeni (2810 m, Mustang) ~7 hours (160 km)

      Drive by jeep to Kagbeni, a medieval fortress-like village on the Kali Gandaki River. A sacred pilgrimage site for Pitri Puja rituals. Overnight in a guesthouse.

  • Day 9: Kagbeni – Muktinath – Marpha – Kalopani

      Visit Muktinath Temple (3710 m), an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

      Drive to Marpha, famous for apple orchards and whitewashed streets. After lunch, continue to Kalopani for overnight at a guesthouse.
