Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Meals: (B/D)

Day 2: After breakfast, city tour to Pashupatinath, Jal Narayan, and Guheshwari Temple. Post-lunch, preparation for Kailash Yatra. Meals: (B/D)

Day 3: Drive by jeep from Kathmandu to Rasuwagadhi (2,500 m), approx. 7 hours (152 km). Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 4: After breakfast, immigration processing (Nepal & China). Transfer to Kerung (26 km), overnight at a hotel (3,700 m). Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 5: After breakfast, drive to Saga (4500 m, 250 km), with magnificent views of Mt. Shishapangma (8021 m), Gauri Shankar, and others from Gurung La Pass (5050 m). Overnight in Saga. Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 6: Drive to Lake Manasarovar (385 km, 4500 m). View the sacred lake and Mt. Kailash from Horchu Pass. Overnight at Chhu Gompa guesthouse by the lake. Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 7: A divine day — Puja, havan, meditation, holy dip, etc. After lunch, drive 30 km to Darchen (4560 m). Overnight at hotel. Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 8: Start Kailash Parikrama: Drive 10 km to Tarboche, then trek ~4-5 hours (18 km total) to Deraphuk (4890 m). Overnight at the guesthouse. Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 9: Trek to Zuthulphuk (22 km, 4790 m), ~8-10 hours via Dolma La Pass (5600 m), the toughest part of the yatra. Short prayer at the top and descent via Gauri Kund. Overnight at the guesthouse. Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 10: Trek 8 km to the end point where jeeps await. Return to Darchen and complete the Parikrama. Drive to Saga via Horchu. Overnight at the guesthouse. Meals: (B/L/D)

Day 11: Visit Saga and then drive 300 km. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery — home to the world’s tallest (33 m) gilded statue of Maitreya Buddha. Overnight at hotel. Meals: (B)

Day 12: Early morning drive to Lhasa (360 km, 3700 m) via Gyantse, with visit to Yamdrok Tso — the turquoise lake. Overnight in Lhasa. Meals: (B)

Day 13: Lhasa city tour: Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Overnight at hotel. Meals: (B)

Day 14: Continue Lhasa sightseeing: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Norbulingka (summer palace). Overnight at hotel. Meals: (B)

Day 15: Transfer to Lhasa Airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Hotel transfer in Kathmandu. Overnight stay. Meals: (B)

Day 16: After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu Airport. End of program and fly home.
