Here, you will visit the famous Buddhist monastery of Tyangboche, and at dawn, ascend Kala Patthar (5,545 m) for a breathtaking panorama of Mount Everest, the Khumbu Glacier, and the towering peaks of Lhotse (8,501 m) and Nuptse (7,879 m).

Program:
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu – the capital of Nepal. You will be met at the airport by a representative of the local company and transferred to the hotel. After a short briefing about the tour program and some rest, we head to the ancient city of Patan (founded in 299 A.D.), one of the oldest settlements in the Kathmandu Valley. In the past, Kathmandu and Patan were two separate kingdoms. On Durbar Square, you’ll visit the famous Terracotta Temple of a Thousand Buddhas (12th century), the ancient Krishna Temple (17th century) – the only Shikhara-style stone temple in Nepal, the Taleju Temple (17th century), the Royal Palace, as well as Hiranya Varna Mahavihar and Mahabouddha Temple. You will also see the Temple-House of the Living Goddess Kumari, and if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of her.
In the evening, you’ll visit the grand Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the most renowned Buddhist sites in the world. Swayambhunath is the oldest stupa in Nepal, adorned with the all-seeing eyes of Buddha on all four sides. Located atop a hill and accessed via a staircase of 365 steps, it offers a stunning panoramic view of Kathmandu. This is a place of strong spiritual energy and was considered sacred even before the arrival of Buddhism in the valley.

Day 02
After breakfast, transfer to Ramechhap (133 km), which takes about 4–5 hours by jeep. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 03
Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,610 m, approx. 4 hrs)
Early morning flight to Lukla (approx. 20 minutes). Upon arrival, meet your team of Sherpas and mountain guide. After sorting out the luggage and a brief exploration of the surroundings, we begin our trek to Phakding (2,800 m, approx. 4 hours). The trail leads us through a narrow strip of forest, then descends steeply to the river. Passing Kusum Kanguru Peak (6,367 m) and skirting the Ghat Ridge (2,550 m), the trail brings us to Phakding Valley, located on both sides of the river.

Day 04 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m, about 4 hours)
From Phakding, the path continues north along the Dudh Koshi river valley. You will pass fields, waterfalls, and villages, then walk through a unique forest of tall firs, rhododendrons (one of Nepal’s symbols), and magnolias blooming from spring to autumn. If lucky, you may see musk deer on the cliffs above the river and water rats in the water. After passing the valley at the foot of Thamserku peak and a stream, the trail leads to the village of Monjo. From here begins the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. Passing a village just beyond the forest, the trail reaches the confluence of two rivers. Climbing a steep ridge, you can admire Everest rising behind the Nuptse ridge. The path then leads to Namche Bazaar.

Day 05 – Trek to Tengboche (3867 m, about 5 hours)
From Namche Bazaar, ascent to Tengboche offers magnificent views of Ama Dablam and Everest. Then, passing the Tibetan monastery, the trail goes through a forest at the foot of sacred Khumbila mountain (5761 m) and descends to Khumjung (3790 m). In the Tibetan gompa here, the Yeti’s skull is kept. There is also a school founded by Edmund Hillary, the first Everest conqueror. Continuing past picturesque Tibetan gompas and villages, you reach Tengboche.

Day 06 – Tengboche (3867 m)
Visit the famous Sherpa monastery of Tengboche.

Day 07 – Trek to Dingboche (4530 m), about 5 hours
Passing through the village of Pangboche via a rhododendron forest. The three peaks Lhotse (8501 m), Ama Dablam (6856 m), and Island Peak (6189 m) are clearly visible from Dingboche. A very beautiful and cozy place.

Day 08
Trek to Lobuche (4930 m), 5 hours.
Vegetation becomes sparse, the air is cooler, food is expensive, and headaches are common. At altitudes above 4000 m, it is recommended to gain no more than 500 m in elevation per day.

Day 09
Trek to Gorak Shep (5164 m), 3 hours. Rest and acclimatization.

Day 10
Climb to Kala Patthar (5545 m) and Everest Base Camp, about 3 hours.
Early morning ascent to Kala Patthar (5545 m), which offers a breathtaking panorama of the world’s highest peak, Everest (8848 m), and Nuptse (7879 m). Then descend to Everest Base Camp and return to Lobuche (4970 m).

Day 11
Return trek to Tengboche, 6 hours.

Day 12
Return trek to Namche Bazaar, 5 hours.

Return trek to Lukla, 5 hours.

Day 14
Flight (20 min) from Lukla to Ramechhap. Arrival, transfer (4-5 hours) to Kathmandu. Check-in to hotel. Free day.

Day 15
After breakfast, sightseeing of UNESCO World Heritage sites: Visit the medieval city of Bhaktapur – the ancient capital of Nepal, almost completely preserved since the 9th century, an open-air museum, city of jewelers, artists, and potters, full of temples, ancient architecture, and museums. Special attention to Nyatapola, one of the largest and most beautiful pagodas, built in honor of the goddess Vajrayogini. By the way, pagodas were invented in Nepal (13th century – architect Arniko) and later spread to neighboring countries. The city is rich in sculptures and temples with erotic scenes.
Next, visit the grand Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath (5th century), one of the largest stupas in the world, and the most revered Hindu shrine in Nepal. Around the stupa, there are many Buddhist monasteries and temples where you can attend services and witness rituals of Buddha worship. Prayers and the constantly spinning prayer wheels represent the eternal movement of the physical and spiritual.

Day 16
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Transfer to Kathmandu international airport and departure home.
