Day 1. Kathmandu – Nagarkot.
Arrival in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal (1350 m above sea level), a land of ancient culture, unique monuments, and rare natural beauty. After passport control and baggage claim, meet our representatives at the airport and transfer (1.5 hours) to the summit of Nagarkot hill (approx. 2100 m). Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel, buffet style. Here you can enjoy the pure mountain air and breathtaking mountain views. The main reason thousands of travelers stay overnight here is to witness the sunset and sunrise over the Himalayas. During the day, the snow-capped peaks sparkle in the bright sunlight. At sunset, the peaks turn a gentle pink, creating a magical play of light and shadow on the mountain ridges. After check-in, dinner (buffet) will be served. Accommodation with breakfast and dinner included. Rest. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2. Nagarkot-Namobuddha-Bhaktapur-Nagarkot.
Sunrise viewing over the Himalayas and breakfast. Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, departure for a spiritual journey to Namobuddha (1.5-hour drive) and Bhaktapur, two hidden gems located in the Kathmandu Valley.
Namobuddha is a revered Buddhist pilgrimage site offering breathtaking mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for meditation and reflection. We will visit one of the most sacred monasteries, Thrangu Tashi Yangtse, and enjoy scenic views of the monastery, valley, and mountain range. There are 360-degree views from Kali Mandir and Namobuddha Monastery.
Next, we travel to the medieval city of Bhaktapur — the ancient capital of Nepal, which has almost entirely preserved its original appearance since the 9th century. It is an open-air museum, a city of jewelers, artists, and potters, filled with temples, monuments of ancient architecture, and museums. Special attention is given to Nyatapola, one of the largest and most beautiful pagodas, built in honor of the goddess Vajrayogini.
By the way, pagodas were originally invented in Nepal (13th century by architect Arniko) and later spread to neighboring countries. Everywhere you see an abundance of sculptures and temples with erotic scenes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3. Nagarkot-Kathmandu
Transfer to Kathmandu. The most interesting historical area is located in the Kathmandu Valley, where many generations of kings built their capitals. Here are Kathmandu itself and its neighbors Patan and Bhaktapur, which have changed little since medieval times.
Tour to Changunarayan Temple — one of the oldest temples in Nepal, built in the 4th century AD. It is one of the most significant cultural and artistic monuments in Nepal and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is dedicated to the god Vishnu and contains many beautiful sculptures and carvings of gods and goddesses. Inside the temple is also a museum where you can learn more about Nepal’s history and culture. Additionally, Changunarayan Temple is located on a hill offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Kathmandu Valley.
On the way to the hotel, visit the Hindu temple Pashupatinath dedicated to the god Shiva, with its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors. It is the most revered temple in Nepal. Around the temple are palace complexes with temples, stupas, sculptures, and museums. Only Hindus are allowed inside this sacred temple, but travelers can get a good view of it from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4. Boudhnath Sankhu
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, a tour to the Boudhanath Stupa — a majestic ancient Buddhist stupa, one of the largest stupas in Asia and the world. The stupa was built in the 2nd century BC. Pilgrims come to the stupa to offer prayers, light butter lamps, and spin prayer wheels.
Next, a tour to the Vajrayogini Temple in Sankhu. Sankhu is an ancient Newar town located on the northeastern outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley. It is a sacred place associated with Vajrayogini for both Buddhists and Hindus. It is considered one of the oldest settlements, with history dating back to the 5th century AD. Return to the hotel. After lunch, a trip to the town of Kirtipur. Kirtipur is a historic town shrouded in legends and rich culture, located in western Nepal. This unique town is a witness to a great past and embodies traditions of art and architecture. Kirtipur is also famous for its numerous temples and shrines, which are pilgrimage sites for believers from around the world. Buddhists have four main pilgrimage sites linked to episodes in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni: his birthplace (Lumbini, Nepal), the place of Enlightenment (Bodh Gaya, India), the site of the first turning of the Dharma wheel (Sarnath, India), and the place of passing into Parinirvana (Kushinagar, India).
Arrival and transfer (30 minutes) to the hotel. Hotel check-in. Entertainment and attractions in Lumbini:
Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Pond Pushkarini, Ashoka Pillar, Peace Stupa, Lumbini monasteries, etc. Overnight at the hotel.

The Lumbini Park is divided into two zones — the western zone, where Theravada tradition monasteries are located, and the eastern zone, which has numerous Mahayana monasteries. Both Theravada zones (east and west) cover a vast area filled with buildings and lush trees. A wide paved road leads to the monasteries. The excursion lasts the entire day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8. Lumbini-Kathmandu (flight~30 min.)
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the local airport and flight to Kathmandu. Arrival in Kathmandu. Trip to the ancient city of Patan (299 AD).
